May was a busy month!
We implemented our HPV Vaccination Provider Training and QI Project with 3 Children's of Alabama pediatric practices. Many thanks to Pediatrics West - McAdory (Bessemer), Over the Mountain Pediatrics (Birmingham), and Physicians to Children (Montgomery) for partnering with us to increase HPV vaccination rates in their clinics. |

Another SUCCESSFUL A Shot at Prevention Luncheon Birmingham, 4.14.26 |
|
| |
The 5th Annual A Shot at Prevention Luncheon was an inspiring event as we came together to advance our mission of preventing HPV cancers. Community leaders, healthcare providers, and vaccine advocates were among the 100 guests who enjoyed a delicious meal and an absolutely inspiring program.
We were honored to hear from Linda Eckert, MD (leading expert in cervical cancer prevention) and Dani Odom (cervical cancer survivor), whose powerful messages reinforced the importance of early vaccination and screening. The event would not have been possible without our incredible Prevention Partners. We are deeply grateful for their continued support and commitment to our mission. Together, we raised $27,500 to support our programs expanding HPV vaccination, education, and cancer prevention efforts across Alabama. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the cause. You are a driving force for our work—we couldn’t do it without you. |
